LONDON, England – On June 24, 2016 the results of the controversial Brexit vote were announced. The results shocked many, especially in cities like London where a majority voted to remain in the European Union.
I travelled to London for the first time on the morning the results were announced. I was only passing through but the heavy mood was tangible. There was a grim quietness to the city as everyone seemed to be processing what these results would mean for their future.
